Best breakfast burritto in all of Summit County. Old school breakfast joint with the best breakfast food in Silverthorne. I highly reccomend this place to anyone staying in Summit County or just passing through, you won't regret it. Not to mention the prices are fanominal!!

Enormous serving sizes. Family-friendly. We got everything from a happy face pancake to French toast to a burger (pictured, mine of course) and everyone was full and happy. The bomb burger was almost too big to bite into and full of juicy, cheesy flavor. The French toast and eggs were spot-on. And the cheesesteak was unexpectedly good, albeit a touch dry. Pleasantly surprised with this little diner right on the corner.

Absolutely amazing food and friendly staff. We're in town visiting for a conference and wanted to try something local and unique. This fit the bill perfectly!

I love mountain lion but I showed up at 630am ready to eat with my toddler and they were closed! The google hours are wrong! BEWARE! They open at 8am!

This place can be pretty busy in the mornings, and that said the servers can be understandably strained. They are very courteous though and the food is delicious. I definitely would recommend this place if you happen to be traveling through and want somewhere you can sit down and enjoy a lively atmosphere.

Great spot - directed here from the local fly shop after stumbling in there in need of immediate calories. The staff is fast, friendly and fun. The food is no frills but filling. I didn't sample their "chile" (it is a New Mexico thing) but their house branded sauce did a good job heating up the meal. I won't pass through here without stopping in in the future.

Great breakfast, family and vegetarian friendly. Super friendly staff and large portions. In fact it would be nice if they offered a couple things in smaller portions, definitely plan on splitting your plate with someone

Quirky little mountain cafe with a home-y feel and touches of Colorado wild-life sprinkled throughout the restaurant. Great place to come if you’re hungry. The food portions are huge! Our service was a bit slow but it was to be expected during the 11am-12pm Sunday brunch rush hour. The bottomless coffee was pretty bad so if you are a die hard coffee lover like we are, maybe skip the coffee :) Other than that, our food was tasty and the service we received was warm and welcoming.

The green chili was absolutely amazing. Better than anyplace that claims to have "award-winning" chili. I also ordered a coffee cake, which was heated or reheated from the bottom up, which made for a delicious dichotomy as I tasted the warm, buttery cake with cool cinnamon crumble on top. Truly a gourmet feature; far higher quality than the price or venue would suggest. If you're trying to decide on breakfast, this is the place. Anyplace else is a waste of time.

This place was awesome! It had a small town charm and reminded me of home a lot. We came in ten minutes before closing (2pm) and the staff did not at all rush us or act like we were an inconvenience. The staff and our waitress were all incredibly friendly, and the pricing here was very fair. As soon as we entered we were offered coffee and water before anything which was very nice! The food came out quicker than anyplace I've ever been to, yet it was delicious. The pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and hash browns were all very unique in their flavoring and very good. The atmosphere is very homey, and the decor is unique. It looks a little bit old from the outside, but it actually just has a ton of personality.We will definitely be returning, and this cafe rightfully earns there business. Would highly recommend for breakfast or lunch!

New location is great. Clean. Big booths everywhere. Cool little bar/counter. The old building was kind of gross. Water tastes a little funky, but food was good.

Cheap, fast and good!!! Got the biscuits and gravy smothered with green chili and hash browns. It's a great Colorado breakfast.

Good Mom and Pop so to speak. Unique place with some unique dishes. I had a very good sandwich but, be nice to have choice other than fresh or chips. Center of town. Close to the outlets, interstate, and tourists info in shopping center across the street in a shopping center. Picture is a mistake from another place and I can't seem to remove them.

I don't hate this place. However when they made their recent move, the quality of the food has suffered. Today I recieved maybe two tablespoons full of green chili on my chili rellenos. In the past you could spoon the smothered green chili servings with a spoon at the end of your meal. Little things like that made me go there often. The serving size has gone down as well. This place has been my favorite for years. No more of the older gals there either. Some mingling with the old staff is missed. Whole new vibe in their now. I know, change is good for some, and some appreciate the old days.

My mother, my son and I were just out for a drive along 70 a couple of years ago and stumbled upon this place. What an awesome stroke of luck! Just loved it! Great food, huge portions, and an awesome waitress (who very kindly gave me this humongous Mountain Lyon Cafe pen when I got all childish about how much I liked it). What more could you ask for? Now, I'm perusing some real estate listings in the general area and realize some of these homes are within a few minutes drive of the cafe. What a selling point. I may be back for seconds any day now. It looks like you've moved and/or remodeled, but I know it's you - I still have the pen!

The service was great the second I walked in, I instantly got sat down and got given menus. The food took no time to come and came in huge portions. Very nice and filling and the server was extremely nice and friendly. Overall I would recommend this to anyone passing through.

Usually great. Was a bit to busy today with not enough staff for Labor Day weekend. Food was good as always except for the fruit and yogurt plate.

I've been visiting this place for 20 years now. Their Eggs Benedict is amazing, great hollandaise and fantastic hashbrowns and my wife is a big fan of the breakfast tacos. We just bought a place across the street and will he visiting often. Also you can't go wrong with any of their pancakes...or anything on the menu!

Food quite pleasant. Usually a bit of a wait on weekends. As busy as they were, we were served quickly and my coffee cup was never empty.

Our family of 5 had a great breakfast on the patio. Loved the pancakes and french toast. Great service and they have done a great job creating a safe environment. You now order and pay when you enter and then sit down and they bring you your food.

Just an amazing Green Chile. Really flavorful and mild with spice

my hot coco had a chunk of the powder so when i went to drink it, it was dry. food was quick, there was a lot of it. everything but the french toast was delicious. they had their own brand of hot sauces if you’re into that. 👍

Great food at reasonable prices.We've been coming here for a decade (though they've recently moved), and will continue to come here. Quick service from nice staff and food that's dialed in. Friendly to everyone, they welcome skiiers, bikers, and hunters alike. Happy they are in a better place now, hope they stay for a long time!Thank for doing such a great job!

Now this local hole in the wall may be on the main road in Silverthorn, but its not at all like a big chain place. If you want REAL local dishes, flavor, service, and to talk to locals instead of a marketing pitch, This is the place for you! Well worth the drive from Breckenridge.

Okay, so the food isn't bad, let me say that. However, it is WAY too overpriced for what it is. Its a regular diner with standard food, but gourmet eatery prices.... I'm just not about it. But other than that, I had great service, so no complaints there!

Wow. What a great breakfast. Had the chicken fried steak and eggs. Steak, crispy. Eggs, cooked to perfection. Hash browns, crispy and covered with green onions and tomatoes. Pancakes, crispy on edges and fluffy in middle. All for under $11. Walked out stuffed and fully satisfied. Would totally recommend.

Really great food. Honestly. Incredible food. They have sooooo many different options it’s kind of overwhelming. Not sure Gordon Ramsey would approve lol. But he’d approve of the taste and speediness of the service! Way to go!

I did not have breakfast which seemed to be the popular choice: but what I got was still a 5 Star.By far the best green chili I've had in Silverthorne was from Lyon cafe.The burger was good, but nothing to write home about. The green chili on the other hand was phenomenal! I've had it at at least 4 other places in Silverthorne and theirs is the best! 5 stars, love it!!

Consistently good. Great service. We come to this place every time we come to the mountains.

Awesome cafe. They closed at 2pm and we called at about 1:40pm and they said come on over. I thought that was really accommodating. Menu has many options. Kids loved the French toast sticks. The veggie sandwich on sourdough was really tasty as was the veggie burrito. This was my first time dining in a restaurant since mid march due to covid and I felt very comfortable.

Well new location but same great food. One of the top breakfast spots in the county. This place is great for paying for what you get. You will not leave here hungry. One of the best places that serves corn-beef hash. The pancakes are great also. They are definitely not light portions by no means. Service is a little slow but the food makes up for it and worth the wait.
